The driving zone consists of 4 parts, greatest of which - actually Саас Фэ. Nearby settlements Saas-Grund, Saas-Balen and Saas-Almagel offer less extensive (to 45 km), but in own way interesting lines, to each of settlements it is possible to reach quickly by the bus.
Саас Фэ - a fine place for the "advanced" and expert driving. For fans of monoskis magnificent special lines are constructed some. In Саас Фэ the most high-mountainous operates in the underground world in which building took part "Мосметрострой", - the lift covered in a rock on top Mittel-Allalin (3500, to the well-known restaurant and an ice grotto. From Аллалина to settlement there is the longest line of a resort (14 km).
On an exit from the underground - a huge complex with a left-luggage office for skis, a bar with the big terrace, hire point, warm toilets. The central lift is the system "Альпин the Express train" - a little канаток, delivering skiers on glacier Фелскин (3000) and capable to transport to 26000 persons at an o'clock.
On the glacier lifts very abrupt, and the territory here, as a rule, is free. All dangerous zones - cracks and ruptures are protected by grids and cords. The basic area of a glacier - lines of average complexity (have a little hilly relief). In general average lines of region have characteristic step structure with small - on 10-15 m - выкатами (№ 5, for example).
Difficult sites are located along the edges of a glacier: it is abrupt black descent Lengflju-Shpilboden, могульный range on slopes Эггинер Йох. As a whole, black lines Саас Фэ first of all are interesting by the relief, instead of a steepness.
In area Platten some red descents will please the prepared skiers (lines one long descent here makes). Gentle slopes for beginners also are located directly at a resort (№№ 4а and 4с - as a six-strip roadway (almost without a bias)).
Though on a resort there is a small zone of driving for children and beginners (in the bottom part of a resort), valley Саас Фэ approaches for the prepared skiers more: red lines places have very impressing difference of heights, and on a resort not too it is a lot of simple dark blue and green lines.
The resort is interesting and to fans of a snowboard: in Саас Фэ there are 3400 metres located at height сноупарк, opened all year long. For those who does not ski, there is special саночная a line.
