Georgia - one of the oldest states of America. It was included into number of the first 13 territories which united in 1776 and have made a basis of the future American state. But the status of the State of Georgia has received only in 1788.
Georgia is 4th state of USA (since 1788), its area almost 60 thousand sq. miles, the population – it is more than 8 million persons. Staff is named II in honour of the king of England George. Staff capital – the city of Atlanta. The flag at Georgia has appeared more recently – in May, 2003. 13 stars on a flag symbolise 13 first states of America. Three columns supporting an arch, designate three branches of the power: legislative, executive and judicial.
Georgia name «Staff of peaches» («Peach State») for a considerable quantity of peach trees and high quality of a product. The peach became official fruit of Georgia in 1995.
And still Georgia is recognised by the leader in poultry farming! Poultry farming is basic branch of agriculture and staff business. The bird brings in to staff the income about 2,5 billion dollars a year! Annually in Georgia the International trading exhibition of poultry farming (International Poultry Trade Show) is spent.

What to visit
Savannah Historic District – national park, territory of the former English colony of Georgia, a city based in 1733. Constructions of 18-19 centuries in Gothic, Greek styles: Owens-Thomas House, Spencer Woodbridge House, King-Tisdell Cottage and others. The park is opened for visitors every day till 5-6 evenings.
Shoot the Bull Barbecue Championship is a competition in preparation of shish kebabs, it is spent in small town Civitan in the south of Georgia in Hawkinsville Civitan Club. Means, собр анные during competitions, go to various children's funds.
