Чолутека

Чолутека - the fourth on size the city of Honduras and the old colonial centre, Чолутека is considered one of the most picturesque places of the country. The main sight here - an islet the Isla-ale-tiger with almost perfect cone of an extinct volcano in the centre (height 783). On island the silent fishing village Amapala (there is no time - the main Pacific port of the country), several good coast, picturesque tracks on raised central areas, and also set of sea small restaurants is located.

The majority of sights is grouped round pleasant Park-sentral. The Pan-American highway rises from a city on valley Rio-Choluteka, leaving to picturesque small town the Dignity-markos-de-kolon and the Nicaraguan border, and to the south Чолутеки begin мангровые bogs and beaches of coast of Fonseca bay.
