Empajr-Stejt-Bilding - the symbol of New York reaching for the sky represents a classical building from the limestone, constructed for 410 days in the heat of Great Depression. A 102-storeyed skyscraper constructed in New York in 1931. Initially well-known aerial was planned as a place of mooring of dirigible balloons. But in view of a project inconsistency, in 50th years on a roof it has been erected a tele-and a radio mast for broadcasting in nearby states. The 62-metre mast of the television aerial which have been built on over a building, has increased its height to 443 m. On its top the navigating lantern for planes has settled down.
