Museum of sweets of factory

Known chocolate factory "Калев" - the oldest in Estonia, based in 1806 confectioner George Shtude. The factory museum totals more than 1000 exhibits, capable to tell to us about long history of the company. In a museum it is possible to see boxes from under sweets, over hundred wrappers from chocolate tiles and ordinary candy wrappers, the awards deserved by factory at national and international exhibitions. «Калев» tries to follow traditions, basing present technology on old recipes.

Here it is possible to familiarise not only with factory history, but also to receive representation about the manufacture. On one of stands visitors can have a look at the basic products which in the confectionery furnace turn to magnificent sweets - cocoa-beans, cocoa-flour, cocoa butter, raisin, a dairy powder … At the big stand process of preparation of sweets is painted - how many stages should pass simple beans of a chocolate tree to turn at last in вкуснейшие sweets in a bright wrapper!
