If you decide to sit down in centre Nymme on the bus number 10 and to pass in direction Пяяскюла to stop Вяяна, and further, walking through wood approximately through 300 metres will reach street, will turn on the left and having passed 200 more metres will appear at park and the lock of a baron Glenn's background.
This magnificent park is located in Tallinn, on slope Мустамяе in area Nymme. It has been based by landowner Nikolay a background Glenn. The most evident обьектом in this park is the lock Glenn's constructed in 1886 background. This structure impregnated with romantic spirit executed in medieval Gothic style, is proud towers on a slope of breakage Мустамяе. Directly opposite to the lock it is possible to see ruins of "a palm small house", this winter garden of a baron for today unfortunately is in very pity kind. Near to ruins on a hillock there is the tetrahedral obelisk devoted to a favourite horse a background of Glenn, here nearby between high fur-trees there is a huge sculpture looking afar so-called "Glenovsky lines".
The huge sculpture, has initially been invented by the author as Estonian ethnographic character Kalevipoega, however the people have unanimously nicknamed this horned giant чёртом. It is necessary to tell, that the sculpture which we see today is completely reconstructed, the original has been destroyed in days of the First World War which ruins it is possible to see in tens steps from it. Nearby to "line" other stone giant is evident. On a plan of a baron it there should be a dragon, but in the people it was nicknamed "Crocodile".
During civil work on sculpture erection in which a baron a background Glenn acted both the head, and the active participant, the head of a dragon did not turn out. Eventually it has simply fallen off, and now has turned to the heap of stones laying nearby. Between two sculptures the deepening reminding a wide ditch is felt. From this искуственно the dug channel the river should turn out. The river should take waters from bog Пяяскюла and proceed through park to the lock and break from breakage by falls downwards. This invention too has appeared unsuccessful, the sand soil in the dug channel has soaked up in itself all water, and there was a park with the dried up channel.
In several стах metres from "crocodile" in direction Пяяскюла from a small hillock, we see one more construction Glenn's background - "a viewing tower". This tower on Glenovsky intentions should be enough high that from its top the Finnish coast was visible. But also it наимерение was not possible, at the tower constructed half, the base has appeared too sickly and it was necessary to refuse this idea. Now in a tower there is an observatory.
Unruly baron in vicinities has erected also other sights which unfortunately have not remained up to now. Glenn's park undoubtedly pleasant place for Sunday walks, fresh air, beautiful well-groomed pine wood, a spacious kind on area Mustamjae, below under footpath breakage in a shade...
