Official classification of hotels in Thailand is not present. Hotels which on world classification would carry to two-star, in Thailand exist and correspond to a category named budget. Numbers in such hotels can have the fan instead of the conditioner, most likely, there will be no also a restaurant, but, as a rule, the Russian tour operators do not offer hotels of such class. «Трёшки», as a rule, not on the first line, and in city centre (it is convenient for youth: all entertainments appear nearby). The minimum set of services in such hotels: pool, restaurant, in number — the conditioner, a minibar, the TV and phone. On islands of a building of hotels generally малоэтажные, low not to break surrounding landscape.

"Stars" on facades of Thai hotels are not present in general, and at a choice it is necessary to be guided by a concrete set of services and an infrastructure: quantity of restaurants in hotel, night clubs nearby etc. the Supper in hotel to order it is not necessary: most likely, to eat it is necessary in loneliness. In the afternoon and in the evening the overwhelming majority of tourists eats at city restaurants and cafe.
