The call can be made from the call boxes located everywhere in streets and in halls of the majority of establishments and shops. Red phones are intended only for local lines, green - for long-distance (the tariff depends on the country in which the call is carried out).
Before a phone number in Thailand the long-distance code of a city often is underlined. Also the set of multichannel phones of a kind (02 03456789 is used... 92, that allows to use any free at present number in a range from 03456789 to 03456792.
As not in all hotels there is a direct exit on "intercity", communication is carried out through the operator of the switchboard of hotel more often. For a direct exit on "intercity" the code of a city and a phone number (hooter to wait it is not necessary) is typed at first "0", then. A code of an automatic international telecommunication - 001.
