Арсланбоб

Extensive territories of fruit and nut woods in a valley of the river Arslanbob the largest in the world which area reaches more than 600 000 hectares. On a legend, Alexander the Great has resulted once the armies on these earths. On this place it finished the campaign on the east and has made decision to come back home. In road it took with itself(himself) fruit and nuts from local woods. Here is how the Kirghiz nuts have got to Greece where began to be called "грецкими".

Annually in valley Арсланбоб collect to 1500 tons of a crop of nuts, and also to 5000 tons of apples, pistachios, a cherry plum. People with gratitude concern these gifts of the nature, and undertake all possible measures for preservation of these natural complexes. Already for many years Арсланбоб, that in transfer "the king of woods" means, is national reserve.
