Weather and climate of China

The climate strongly differs in different parts of the country stretched along three climatic belts: moderate continental with hot summer both in the severe winter in the west of and the north, subtropical in the central areas of the country and tropical monsoonal at southern coast and islands. Characteristic line is very high humidity of air in the summer in many central and southern areas. Average temperature in northern areas in the winter about-7°S (not a rarity and-20°S), in the summer about +22°С and it is dry enough. In the central part of China in the winter from 0°С to-5°S, in the summer — nearby +20°С.

In southern areas in the winter from +6°С to +15°С, in the summer — above +25°С. The best time for trips to China — late spring (April and May), and also autumn from September till October, (in the south from November till December). On island Hainan it is possible to go all year long. Mid-annual temperature on island +28°C, temperature of sea water +25.6°C. The abundance of tropical woods on island creates a unique microclimate — moderately hot and moderately damp. Probably, for this reason by quantity of long-livers on one thousand inhabitants Hainan wins first place in the world, and on ecological cleanliness — the second.
