Weather and climate of Malaysia

Because of a heat, humidity and regular tropical downpours Malaysia sometimes name "sauna". Here few seasonal changes of a climate, but the most cool time from November till January when the thermometer column falls to +26°C is considered. Strong, but short-term rains go all year. The season of rains at east coast of Malacca (the Western Malaysia), in the west Саравака and the northeast Sabaha usually proceeds from October-November till February. At the western coast of the country (island Langkavi, Пенанг, Пангкор) seasons of rains last from April till May and from October till December, but downpours there short-term, therefore the resort season lasts all year long.

The best time for visiting of the Western Malaysia considers the period from the end of November on the beginning of February, and East — May-September.
